Omagh native Neil Mellon has returned to his hometown with a mission: to change the way people experience buying and selling homes.

With the launch of Mellon Properties, Neil is blending his deep local roots with big-city expertise to create an estate agency that feels modern, approachable and community driven.

A Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer, Neil draws on 10 years of experience in Belfast and
his own journey as a young homeowner to offer a service that’s transparent, digitally savvy, and
refreshingly human.

“Buying or selling a home is one of the most personal and important decisions someone can make.Communication is key, and too often people are left waiting or left in the dark,” Neil explains. “People who choose Mellon Properties will see that we take a much more proactive and transparent approach. When people put their trust in us, they can expect us to treat their transaction as if it’s our own.”

Our office is under renovation and set to open in December this year, is designed to feel welcoming—almost like a local coffee shop for property—Mellon Properties combines a friendly, community-first approach with a modern studio space, creating an environment where people want to visit and feel comfortable doing so.

In line with this ethos, Mellon Properties intends to host free First-Time Buyer Workshops, giving attendees a relaxed space to learn, ask questions, and get guidance from mortgage advisors, solicitors, and property professionals.

On weekends and evenings, Mellon Properties will open its studio to local artists, crafters, and small business start-ups, providing a space to showcase products or trial a town-centre retail presence—further supporting the local community and creative talent.
