Mellon Properties HQ is in the middle of an exciting transformation. Our new home is more than just an office—it’s a return to a place of family heritage.

The building on George’s Street once housed Neil’s grandfather’s barbershop in the 1950s and 60s, a familiar meeting spot in the community. After standing vacant for years, it’s now being carefully restored and reimagined as the base for Mellon Properties.

The decision to breathe new life into the premises came earlier this year, when Neil and his family considered the future of the building. With his father having inherited the property nearly twenty years ago, Neil saw the perfect opportunity to blend history with a new chapter—opening his own estate agency where a family business once thrived.

Mellon Properties was founded with a simple aim: to do things differently. We believe buying or selling a home shouldn’t feel intimidating. That’s why our office has been designed more like a coffee shop than a corporate space—think warm lighting, friendly faces, and a relaxed atmosphere where conversations flow easily.
